Here is their artwork from today. Although you can't tell it from the end result, Sammy did a good job tracing the outside of his letter with the paintbrush. Katie had more fun rubbing her paintbrush on Sammy's paper than on her own.

i was just checking out this curriculum and i love it! i'll need to do some planning but i think we can do an abbreviated version of it with JD. i like to keep our evenings mostly open for free play but week-ends could use some direction.
I'm not even really following her lesson plans - just putting stuff up on the wall with sticky tack(instead of a learning poster we have a "learning wall") and talking about it several times a day as we happen to pass it.
